APEX Quality Award – the Gold Standard in Service.
Voyance’s annual APEX Quality Award has been adopted as one of the more prestigious awards in the healthcare industry. Simply put, APEX Quality Award winners are determined solely by feedback given by their patients.
This national distinction recognizes outstanding healthcare organizations that demonstrated the highest level of excellence in patient satisfaction and overall care over a 12-month period. Key Performance Indicators tied closely to Clinical, Operational, and Interpersonal Measures are paramount drivers in the overall evaluation process. Each year Voyance evaluates and revises award criteria making the honor more challenging to receive. Experiential measures tied most closely to actual care are emphasized and weighted appropriately.
Voyance encourages winners to display the APEX award proudly as a constant reminder to both the organization and patients of the outstanding level of service provided.
APEX Quality Award winners represent healthcare providers that consistently achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction for a given year, providing national recognition that sets Voyance clients apart from their peers.

Each year Voyance recognizes our highest performing healthcare entities with the APEX Quality Award. APEX, defined as the highest or culminating point, is further defined by Voyance as Attributes for Patient Excellence.
The award is patient-centric, with scoring provided solely from each entity’s patients. Clinical interaction is heavily weighted in all markets, and Voyance evaluates the complementary measures we believe contribute to the effectiveness of care provided market by market. Some measures are ignored entirely as they are entirely experiential as opposed to having a direct impact on care.
Voyance’s eligibility criteria for consideration follows. Each healthcare entity must:
- Exceed the 85th percentile of their peer’s overall APEX Weighted Score
- Meet a minimum survey response threshold during the 12 months of award consideration (July – June)
- Measure all key performance indicators required by Voyance for their specific healthcare market
